Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 11 July 2026

These terms apply whenever you buy a book or DVD directly from quotabooks.com. Please read them before placing an order.

Who we are

Quota Books Limited is a company registered in England & Wales, company number 12132129, registered office at The Studio, 197 Hammersmith Grove, London, W6 0NP.

Contact us at info [at] quotabooks.com.

Products

We publish and sell books, audiobooks and DVDs, including Pam Gems Plays (Vols 1–9), Mars Attacks Memoirs, and Who Killed British Cinema?. Products bought via Amazon or Audible are sold and fulfilled by Amazon/Audible under their own terms, not ours.

Prices and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are correct at the time of publishing, though we reserve the right to change them. Payments made directly through this site are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.

Delivery

We offer free UK shipping on all direct orders. We aim to dispatch orders within 3–5 working days. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and may vary during busy periods.

Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. To cancel, email info [at] quotabooks.com with your order details. You'll need to return the item at your own cost, in its original condition, within 14 days of telling us you want to cancel. We'll refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

This right does not apply to digital products (such as ebooks or digital audiobooks) once you've begun downloading or streaming them with your consent.

Faulty or damaged items

If an item arrives faulty or damaged, contact us within 30 days for a full refund or replacement, at no cost to you.

Intellectual property

All text, images, and content on this site, and in the books and films we publish, are the property of Quota Books Limited or its licensors and contributors, and may not be reproduced without permission.

These terms cover direct purchases made on quotabooks.com only. Our sister sites — Who Killed British Cinema, Mars Attacks Memoirs, and The Film Cage — each have their own terms, linked from their own footers.

Limitation of liability

We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or our products, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law (for example, death or personal injury caused by our negligence).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision.
